1. Will I be able to see the beads before the contest?

Yes. The bead sets will be available for purchase in my Etsy shop soon.

2. Do I have to use all of the beads?

No. You may use as many or as few of the beads as you wish. If you use more than one bead set, you may enter the "Anything Goes" category.

3. Can I sell my entry piece(s) on Etsy?

Absolutely yes! You can sell your piece(s) at any time. Just make sure to upload your high-quality photo(s) to Flickr. In fact, I'd love for people to use lavaspring08 as a tag in their listings so I can compile a Treasury of entries at some point!

4. How much does it cost to participate?

Only the cost of the bead set, $10. There is no extra cost.

5. Can I make more than one entry?

Yes. You can make as many pieces as you like, and enter them in the appropriate category. You can also enter several pieces as a set as a single entry.

6. If I wirewrap the beads, can I enter my piece in "Only the Beads"?

Yes. Wire is a basic finding. If you add extra beads or findings beyond the basic ones, you will need to enter the "Anything Goes" category, though. If you have a question about a particular item you plan to use, please let me know.

7. If I buy the bead set, do I have to enter the contest?

No. Feel free to use your beads for your personal projects. You are not obligated to enter the contest if you buy the beads.
